Trend of new refrigerants: With the emphasis on environmental protection, the development and application of new refrigerants has gradually become a trend in the field of refrigeration technology. For example, the hydrofluorocarbon (HFOs) family of refrigerants has lower global warming potential and is considered an environmentally friendly alternative. In addition, natural refrigerants such as ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide gas (CO2) have also attracted attention due to their environmentally friendly and zero ODP characteristics.
Lubricating oil compatibility: Refrigerant selection also needs to consider its compatibility with the lubricating oil in the refrigeration system. Different refrigerants may require specific types of lubricants to ensure the system operates properly and does not damage internal components.
