An ice maker is a device specifically used to make ice cubes. Its working principle mainly involves key steps such as compression refrigeration cycle, water circulation and ice cube release.
The working principle of an ice maker is based on the compression refrigeration cycle. The refrigerant is compressed into high-temperature and high-pressure gas by an internal compressor and then transported to the condenser. In the condenser, the high-temperature and high-pressure gas dissipates heat through the radiator and becomes a high-pressure liquid refrigerant. Then, the high-pressure liquid refrigerant is decompressed through the expansion valve and becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant and enters the evaporator.
The working principle of an ice maker also involves water circulation. In the evaporator, the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant exchanges heat with the tap water in the water tank, causing the temperature of the water to drop below the freezing point, thereby solidifying into ice cubes. At the same time, according to the set time and temperature parameters, the circulation of the refrigerant and the cooling process of the water are controlled to ensure the quality and output of the ice cubes.
The working principle of an ice maker also includes the release of ice cubes. Once the water solidifies into ice cubes in the ice mold, the ice cubes are released from the ice mold by vibration or heating, and then the ice cubes are sent to the storage box by the conveying device. During the whole process, the water level and temperature are automatically monitored, and the circulation of the refrigerant and the cooling speed of the water are adjusted according to the real-time data to ensure the quality and output of ice cubes.
